No tricks here! Chicago’s very own Halloweek is back this year with tons of events, resources, and treats. Chicago Halloweek is developed by the City of Chicago to ensure all youth and families can have a celebratory and safe Halloween and Fall season. Celebrate Halloweek With Two Fantastically Spooky Parades!


Arts in the Dark Parade

Presented by LUMA8 and the City of Chicago and sponsored by Barry Callebaut and Haribo with major support from Chicago Loop Alliance.

This magical evening parade celebrates Halloween as the “artist’s holiday.” It's a dazzling production that delights the audience with unique floats, spectacle puppets, and creative performances – all set against the backdrop of historic State Street.

Date: Saturday, October 21, 6-8PM

Location: State Street

Upside Down Parade

Presented by LUMA8 and the City of Chicago and sponsored by World’s Finest Chocolate.

Be a star in the parade by dressing in costume and walking through dozens of singing, dancing, and spectacle-performance groups stationed along Russell Drive in Washington Park. Attendees will receive free goody bags at the end of the route.
